    Now that was amazing thin crust pizza! First time for us in the UK and a bit starving for some quality food. After wandering the town of York after a late arrival, we found most places closed or empty. Zizzi was anything but. Well over half full with a wonderful smell of Italian cookery coming at us from all sides, we could not resist. Just watch the price. At 7.5 GBP per lemon aid, it's a bit pricy.

    If you are looking for a nice mid-priced comfort Italian food, head to zizzi's and you won't go wrong. We ordered a risotto and a spaghetti carbonara and those were cooked to expectation. It is a family restaurant style and the waitresses were attentive to our needs. Good to have heard of it and finally tried!
